Course Details

Now in it’s second year this new 10km race starts in Grassmoor Country Park and goes out onto the mainly 2m wide, hard core paths of the 5 pits trail which will take you through the beautiful Derbyshire. You will run along a traffic free course, passing small lakes in lovely countryside. Being Derbyshire there are a few hills although the 1km downhill run near to the finish will invigorate you.  The course is changed slightly from 2019, download below. All abilities are welcome and entry fee is £13 for UK Affiliated club members or £15 for non UK Affiliated runners. All 5km finishers will receive a race memento.

The 2km Fun Run is fully within the boundaries of the park and will be marshaled. The start is close to Race HQ in the field close to Grassmoor Pond. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal. Entries for the Fun Run will be taken on the day until 08.45am with an entry fee £3.
